Playing with dishes promotes so much learning for kids. Imagination, planning, and cooperation. Whether they have a picnic with their toys, their friends or by themselves, the play supports so much learning and development. But, how many of you don’t want your kids to play with the kitchen dishes? For as little as $15 you can buy them a set to play with and use for picnics when they’re older. Don’t forget to encourage some conversation to build in math and language skills too. For example, one-to-one correspondence, quantity, color, and sorting are three main areas of topics. Check out this link for some great information about why one-to-one correspondence is important.
